Following a defeat to Naomh Pádraig in their last outing, following the league split, the senior footballers travelled to the Glen Road to take take on league leaders Naomh Treasa, hoping to get back on the winning trail.
The first half was very competitive with both teams playing some good football and there was never more than 2 points between the teams with the sides level on five separate occasions. At half time the teams could not be separated with the scores level 0-8 to 0-8.
The second half followed a similar pattern with both teams adding to their tally, however it was Naomh Treasa who started to dominate and they subsequently went on a s coring spree of 1-5 to open up a seven point advantage. We had no answer at this stage and despite tagging on a few points Naomh Treasa ran out winner 1-16 to 0-11.
