The senior hurlers needed a win to have an outside chance of advancing to the semi-final stages of the Junior Hurling Championship but in a keenly contested game with Naomh Uile came away with their second draw in the group stages. It was a highly entertaining game with both teams enjoying periods of dominance with the lead changing on several occasions. However, on the day we didn’t manage to get across the finishing line with the only consolation knowing that we wouldn’t have qualified for the semis even with the win as Lamh Dhearg defeated Ros Earcain to top the group with Ros Earcain taking the runners up spot.
